Casa B
Hey there! Let me share a little bit about myself. My name is Cassandra, but I go by Casa, Momma House, House, Brick House; those are the nicknames my friends gave me back in my early teens when I was playing soccer. I grew up in the northern state of Minnesota, where I really found my passions for sports, languages, and the arts. It’s been a wild ride full of fun experiences and places! I am also a mom, spouse, retired Air Force Paramedic, sign language interpreter, and professional bowler!

Learning my craft
My love of yarn starts back in college when I decided to give knitting a try. I can still picture those early days, learning how to purl and knit. It felt like I was waiting forever to see anything come together! Fast forward seven years, and I found myself pregnant with my son. It was around that time that I discovered crocheting through a fun little class, and oh boy, did I fall head over heels for it! I began crafting adorable baby cocoons, cozy blankets, cute booties, and soon after, I dove into making hats and those lovable amigurumi creatures. Later I dove into glass art, wood burning, and crochet blankets and repairing them. I have always felt my craft isn't just crocheting, its crochet art.

Casa B Crafty was born
In 2020, after my journey as a Paramedic in the Air Force came to a close, I had a spark of inspiration: why not turn my beloved hobby into a business? So, I took the leap and registered as an LLC. Being a Scorpio, I absolutely thrive on transformation, and each time I see a project evolve from a simple skein of yarn into a beautiful hat or a cherished family heirloom, it fills me with happiness and pride in my work!
